52. The Borough Surveyor reported (i) the tenant of the house and shop, No. 4. Anchorite Road, owned by the Council, had agreed to the rent of the premises being increased to £52 per annum in consideration of the Council's extending the shop portion of the premises; and that (ii) that he had therefore invited tenders for the work involved in such an extension.
