Notes

35. A letter dated 18th April, 1955, from Mr J. W. Buck, the tenant of the house and shop, No. 91, Hall Garth Circle, owned by the Council, was presented, stating (i) that, since he commenced business as a grocer at the premises his trade had increased and he had found the store room to be inadequate; and (ii) that he wondered whether the Council would be prepared to erect an additional store room at the premises and the, if so, he would be prepared to pay extra rent. RESOLVED - That a Sub-Committee, consisting of the Chairman, the Mayor and Alderman Howie, be appointed to consider the enquiry and to report back to a future meeting of the Committee.
