Kendal, Cumbria, UK

This site is all about Kendal in Cumbria, UK.

It is a wiki site which I hope to open up to public editing once a core of content is available.

It is a repository for any information about Kendal, with photographs and other images where possible - mainly facts but could include stories and legends. Initially it will be based around the built environment - streets, buildings and other structures - but extending to people, businesses, industries associated with them and the town, both current and historic.

The ultimate goal is to have every property described and capture as much history associated with it as possible.

Where existing businesses are included an attempt will be made to link to their own resources but a brief promotional element will also be acceptable.

It will be a long project, hopefully useful and rewarding. Any offers of collaboration will be favourably considered!
