Returning to the opposite side of the road, I cannot pass by without a word of comment upon that most choice bit of grouping that can be seen down Yard 65. My illustration gives no adequate interpretation of its charm, for the soft colouring of each shapeless stone, enriched by the golden stain of time and glowing beneath the warmth of a mid-day sun, cannot be depicted by had drawn-out lines of black.
