View source for Caroline Street

Extending between it's junction with the north side of [[Windermere Road]] (after No.[[9 Windermere Road|9]] passing [[Cross Street]] on the right and [[Strickland Court]] on the left (the old [[Workhouse]] and later [[Kendal Green Hospital]], now housing) it joins [[Green Road]] and [[Horncop Lane]] opposite [[Kendal Green]].

Named for Queen Caroline (wife of George IV) it was built around 1819-1820. On November 20 and 21 in 1918 there were illuminations in her honour in the town.
